8/12/07- An open casting call has been issued for Explosium Films' next project, "Hydra". Click here for details. 

-Tyler Hisel is the writer, producer and Director of Photography for "Hydra". The film is being directed by Whit Bussey. The film is being made in conjunction with Skye Studios.

6/14/07- "Favor" screened tonight at the Ichthus Music Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky in front of a crowd estimated as high as 20,000. Click here for photos of the screening.

4/29/07- Tyler Hisel's "Favor" won three awards at the 2007 Highbridge Film Festival on Saturday! The film took home Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Audio!

4/28/07- "Favor", "Greed", and "Static" have been selected to screen at the Sundays in the City in New York City, special showcase from the last three years.

4/26/07- A cut of Favor (edited for content) will be screening this Saturday at the Highbridge Film Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky. The screening time has been approximated at 9pm. 

3/12/07- A cut of "Favor" and will be premiering this Sunday at the Sundays in the City film festival in New York City at the Devil Hop Grill. 

-It will be screened back to back with "Greed". A Question and Answer session with director/writer Tyler Hisel will follow the films.

7/24/06- Production is underway for Tyler Hisel's upcoming unnamed project. The first day of principal photography will take place on Tuesday.

2/7/06- "Static" has been accepted into the Sundays in the City film festival in New York City on March 12th. A Q&A with Tyler Hisel and Trevor Sherwood is scheduled after the screening.

1/31/06 The next project for Explosium Films has been announced! Tyler Hisel has finished the screenplay for "Greed"! The story follows a man who must face the consequences of a decision he makes after stumbling upon a fatal car crash. 

- "A Showdown in Rattletree", an audio comedy that tells the story of an unlucky barber in the old west, has been uploaded. Listen to it here!
